LAUSD Procurement Services Department Introduces Prequalification Drop-In Sessions for Contractors

Procurement Services Department is continuing its commitment to supporting contractors by hosting a series of Prequalification Drop-In Sessions throughout Fiscal Year 2025-2026. These virtual sessions are designed to help prospective bidders navigate the District’s prequalification requirements and prepare for upcoming contracting opportunities.

Sessions will be held monthly (last Tuesday of the month) via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:

FY 2025-2026 Drop-In Session Dates

  • December 16, 2025

  • January 27, 2026

  • February 24, 2026

  • March 31, 2026

  • April 28, 2026

  • May 26, 2026

  • June 30, 2026

These one-hour sessions provide a convenient opportunity for vendors to learn directly from LAUSD’s Prequalification team, ask questions, and receive guidance in real time.

What Participants Can Expect

Each Prequalification Drop-In Session will include:

Demo of the QualityBidders Prequalification Platform

Attendees will be guided through the QualityBidders online system, where firms must submit their prequalification applications. The demo covers platform navigation, required documentation, and submission best practices.

How to Get Prequalified for Upcoming Projects

LAUSD staff will outline the prequalification process, eligibility criteria, and common pitfalls to avoid. Contractors will gain insight into the steps required to successfully prequalify for future construction and facilities-related projects.

Live Q&A Session

Participants may ask questions related to application requirements, processing timelines, account setup, and other prequalification topics. This interactive portion ensures that vendors leave the session with clarity and confidence.
